Went to help out in JB's service! It was a really good experience. The hunger of the people, how they put things together and doing the best they know how. All these really impacted me! I was there serving as a BV. Was rather nervous afraid that i won't do a good job but still am glad that God can use me in this singing area coz i really love to sing. It's really a training ground for me to learn to flow. I won't say that i did a fantastic job but i will keep learning and moving on =)
Pst CK shared about the four men and the paralytic. That it took the four man to be willing to stand in the gap to help the paralytic and what really caught me while going through the verses was that it took four men. It takes a team with the same vision, definitely not a one man show! And another thing is that the scribes reasoned in their hearts. Many times when we have a vision for His kingdom, i'll minds may drift away with what others may think in their heart. Even to the extreme when people praise you, you wonder if they are speaking from their heart. But not the four men helping the paralytic. They are focused! Not compromising to be a emotionally hard to please man but focusing on the kairos time, focusing on Jesus! Personally i really want to learn to control this area of my life so that i won't miss out anymore kairos moments. =)
Anyway, after the service a bunch of us went to City Square Kim Gary Restaurant to makan! The food is really good! =) And my have a time of fellowship which is great. But in every good thing we do for God the devil just can't tahan i guess. After the meal we moved in separate groups. Some went shopping, some went back by car and there and then left me, Darice and Fiona. And the dumb thing is that we got lost in JB coz we were not sure about the way to get to the custom. Fear came in coz we're in a foreign place and our smelly sticky body made us so frustrated. At last we managed to get our way back in Singapore and i must say... I LOVE SINGAPORE!! AHHH!!! I thank God for journey mercy and His protection over us. I guess the devil got to think of new tricks next time for Darice, Fiona and I coz WE WILL NOT GET LOST THERE AGAIN!! And from that incident, we formed the Lost and Found group.. Not bad huh? =)
