You're The Rainbow In My Life
Sam's Diary

Welcome to My Diary!

It's always easier to frown, cry or get angry over certain things. Smiling many times can be a painful thing to do. But I believe you smile can always bring a smile on another's face. And joy is a greater and more attractive strength you can rely on.

Here I bring my journey written. I hope it can be an encouragement to people who meets up with issues that i go through. And also an entertainment for those who can identify with the journey I live.

We were kinda bored at a wedding.. hehe..
I'm so so blessed to have him by me =)

Super nice rojak at Whompoa Market! I'm not really into rojak kind. But this is really really nice! Can go and try. Even Chow Yun Fatt also go there to eat twice =)

Thought about a little something today. There's this worship by True Worshippers, "I Surrender All". The chorus goes like:
I Surrender All I Will Follow You
I Surrender All Bring My Life To You
I Surrender All Live My Life For You
I Surrender All I Surrender All
To You Jesus
Had a little thought about that line live our life for God. It's sounded a little also like "Lift My Life For You". Many times we treat it so casually saying we live our life for God. But really living our life for God is also lifting our life for Him. Each time we elevate our life, the reason and heart should revolve around God. It's not easy and truly a test of stewardship. It's so easy to use the name of God saying we're living for Him and serving Him but when glory seems to come our way and our lives are lifted (elevated) up, sometimes we just enjoy it too much and claim as our own. I caught something today. I want to live my life for Him and when i lift up my life, i want to lift my life for Him alone =)

Blessed by the Word
Sunday, January 18, 2009

I guess I will continue getting busy with different things but it feels great coz I can be fruitful from the start of 2009. Was really blessed by what Rev. John Bevere shared about honor. Guess those who were there know what i mean =) Was meditating on that and God showed me a verse.

Pro 15:33
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

It is like a further step led by the Lord that honor starts from within. Be it honoring people of being honored. God looks at your heart. and humility is not being weak and low self-esteemed. But it is knowing your strengths and admitting your weaknesses. Not carrying a pride comparing ourselves secretly with another person. Willing to humble ourselves and serve with our talents =) And the list goes on and on.. I am convicted that God is more interested in the change inside out. Not just taking a shortcut honoring people from surface. At least in my life, i want to watch this area as much as I can. And i really thank God for wisdom and guidance. He's always there ready and persistent in blessing, empowering and covering my life.

Was really blessed by what Pst Tan shared at service today too! A powerful message on prayer =) Caught a number of things and one of the things that really impacted me and caused me to make a decision is that I want to be sensitive to what God has started and be in partnership with it from now on. And not just starting something i want and expect God to go according to my will and perform some "a-ber-ca-de-bra"! I got to learn to trust in what God is doing.

I was given a "mission" today. Rather challenging and requires really the spirit of excellence of at least i want to make sure it can be a sphere-head to break a new ground. Not gonna share about it just yet coz i dun wanna go ahead of myself. Pray that God inspire and take control of everything =) Will share when the time is right =)

Finally an update.. LOL!

I know some suspected I dropped dead coz i have not blogged since 2008! LOL! Was busy with exams, projects and lots of other stuff.. Anyway, i really must recommend Red Cliff 2!

It's a really "cannot miss" show! To many ladies maybe it's just a war show or some history stuff but the way they bring the story out isn't boring at all! I really admire their sense of humor, wisdom and calmness. Usually the second part will flop one lah. But not this one! I was captivated throughout! So guys, don't miss it ya? =)

CNY is coming and it's time for spring cleaning.. I have to admit my room looks as if i was robbed. So in order not to prolong this kana robbed disillusion to my parents, i shall pack! And try my best to maintain.. hehe..! So if u're like me, haven't pack and in great mess, do "auto" a bit before your parent's red alert signal! Lol!
